Prosperity 4 Life Ltd (ACR into Sustainable Enterprise/Employment) is an initiative that works through a range of services and partnerships to help improve the quality of life for ACR and others who are disadvantaged.

PFL Ltd main aim is to promote and support micro and social enterprise among ACR and other disadvantaged people as a means of tackling social exclusion by empowering service users to develop their business/employment potential.

We help our service- users to overcome barriers that prevent them accessing mainstream business/employment advice and support by proving a first contact community based business/employment advice service that helps them to build self confidence before we link them with other service for additional support.

We offer our service- users a chance to explore and develop their micro or social enterprise ideas individually or as a group with professional support in a relaxed, none threatening, culturally appropriate environment.

We work closely with several mainstream enterprise development agencies in the North West to enhance our service for the users.

Our service is Free and Confidential, Personal, Impartial & Professional.

Aims & Objectives

• To promote a dynamic, pace setting agency in business support for African, Caribbean and Refugee businesses.
  
• To carry out research in the development of enterprise and skills enhancement within the sector of African, Caribbean and Refugee businesses.
  
• To drive and support a range of knowledge transfer initiatives (including: Training Programmers, mentoring, Seminars, Conferences, Networking Events) that will accelerate the development of this sector of African, Caribbean and Refugee Communities.
  
• To support the growth of new, small business and Growth Companies from amongst the African, Caribbean and Refugee Communities, through providing advices in investment and increasing access to other sources of finance.
  
• To seek to develop networking and partnership relationships, with existing mainstream agencies, such as Business Link, Banks, NWDA, LSC, SSC, SME business support and other finance Agency’s.
  
• To develop a North West African, Caribbean and Refugee business Associaion and map out an N/W Business Directory.
  
• To become the bridge head improving access to business support for African, Caribbean and Refugee entrepreneurs.
  
• To support government initiative and programs that ensure greater levels of sustainability and longevity for African, Caribbean and Refugee businesses.
  
• To support and provide skills enhancement initiatives in the areas such as Leadership, Management, Enterprise and business performance improvement.
  
• To promote the role of the voluntary/sustainable social enterprise within the community by tackling social exclusion and improving community cohesion.
  
• Tackling the lack of basic skills and qualifications to improve employability and reduce worklessness.
